School “SMART” Goal (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Timely): By the end of the 2023-24 school year, students who have an attendance rate ranging between 50-65% will increase their attendance rate by 10%.
Strategic Plan Strategy: Implement strong multi-tiered systems of support for students' behavioral and social-emotional needs
- Action: Begin Monthly Tier 1 Meetings with a team of administrators and teachers to review building wide data, create PBIS lessons and incentive campaigns, and create signage aligned to the behaviors we are teaching
- Action: Revamp BH&W to use Tier 2 Early Warning Data, Create specific action plans, and monitor progress.
- Action: Create small Tier 3 teams to child individualized plans for students

Strategic Plan Measure: Percent of students reporting agency in learning
School “SMART” Goal (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Timely): By the end of June 2024, all teachers will be utilizing two or more research based instructional strategies that will support all students but with a specific focus on ELD students within their content area as measured by classroom observations and student artifacts
Strategic Plan Strategy: Articulated and scaffolded high leverage teaching strategies (AVID-WICOR) taught and consistently used in all content areas at all grade levels
- Action: Professional development facilitated by administrators and Instructional Coach that focuses on implementing AVID focus notes across all content areas.
- Action: Condensed QTEL Training for 100% of licensed staff
- Action: CTE teachers were given the opportunity to attend AVID training specifically focused on CTE.
- Action: Composition notebooks (1,000) provided to encourage focus note taking in class.
- Action: Revised observation tool to communicate high quality student talk and focused note strategies strategies.
